The cauliflower that was served with the meatloaf was cooked from a frozen mix and had zero salt or seasoning on it. The meatloaf definitely was under seasoned, but the food was pretty good otherwise. The food was served hot and looked great when it came out, but the burger was slightly under seasoned. She did ask if we wanted refills on our drinks as we were paying our bill - a little late and I think she just didn’t want to be bothered with getting them, and knew we would say’ “ no thanks” because we were already gathering our items to leave. The waitress forgot to bring out the requested condiments, and after asking she still forgot them. We had a food allergy in our party and the waitress didn’t want to be bothered with a question or two, and kind of threw an attitude about this. We did, however, order two orders of wings for appetizers. We could tell as soon as she took our drink orders. We didn’t order drinks and, clearly, our waitress wasn’t thrilled with that choice. (Inside had plenty of open seating and the hostess did ask if we would rather be seated immediately inside.) We were okay with that as we chose to sit outside, and it was a really nice day. We were told it would be a minute or two wait, but it ended up being 20 minutes. Since portions are generous, plan accordingly! Nice place to eat with good food and views of the bay. I wasn't too fond of the cheesecake as it was more of a custard than traditional cheesecake.Īt the end, our check came but was for the wrong table. We opted to share a dessert and chose the classic cheesecake with caramel sauce. The puff pastry had a bit of sweetness which paired well with the meal. The bowl included quite a few Scallops, mushrooms, onions, peas and carrots in a white sauce. It came in a bowl with a (very) delicate and airy puff pastry to the side. As a result of the large appetizer portions, we decided to split an entree: Scallops Pot Pie. Dinner also comes with hot, fresh bread and butter, but they forgot to bring that to us until our appetizers were almost gone.

Both were delicious, especially the Firecracker Shrimp. We started dinner with a bottle of Smith and Hook Cab and a couple of appetizers: Fried Calamari and Firecracker Shrimp. Service was a bit slow, but the place was at capacity, so understandable. It was pretty raucous in there, but not overwhelming. She also disinfected the menus while we waited. The hostess seemed a bit distracted, but not sure why since there were only a few people waiting. We made reservations and were seated quickly.
